Benjamin gained a degree in Interior Design at the University of Kingston in 2005. He then undertook his Part-I at Brighton University, before working in London and graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2014.

His thesis project exploring London’s growth, public space, housing and the impact of the suburban grain on the city was featured in Blueprint Magazine as ‘Best Graduate Work of 2014’. Framed by the collaborative research unit into the Greenbelt, led by Finn Williams, David Knight and Charles Holland, Benjamin’s work also featured in; Volume Magazine, Icon magazine, The Observer and The Planner. The research has since been published by the London Society as part of an ongoing research project into London’s Metropolitan Green Belt.

After graduating, Benjamin worked at Quinn Architects, assisting on projects at a variety of scales in London; from the renovation of the Rochelle School and Club Row buildings in Shoreditch, to the restoration and refurbishment of a Grade-I Listed townhouse in Bloomsbury.

Benjamin then moved to dRMM, where he was involved in number of high profile competition entries such as Homerton College and St Mary Redcliffe. He also worked on several projects at planning stage, including the development of five CLT private houses in Sussex and a number of feasibility studies for prominent sites in London.

Since joining HH+ in February 2017, Benjamin has worked on projects in a range of sectors, including the design and technical detailing of a number of small-scale private residential buildings in London through to large public realm proposals in the lake district and Cork – the latter a competition-winning entry for the development of the riverside at Morrison’s island working with Francis Keane Architects.
